What you will do

• Inspect items before, during, and after painting to ensure finish quality.
• Mask areas that do not require paint using tape, wrap, and other materials.
• Mix paints, select tools, and prepare materials according to instructions.
• Apply even finishes with spray-painting equipment and perform touch-ups.
• Check paint thickness and uniformity before final coating or curing.
• Clean equipment and workspaces, move items safely, track progress, and follow EPA standards.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of painting experience preferred.
• Ability to read manufacturing drawings.
• Experience working with MIL-Specs and military specifications.
• US citizenship required; proof of citizenship and confirmation of no dual citizenship are required for access to NOFORN data.
• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
