Staff Product Designer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Austin, Texas, United States

Salary: $180,000–$250,000 annual total compensation, including base salary and bonus

What you will do

• Design end-to-end AI-enabled workflows for third-party risk assessments, automated security questionnaires, and continuous monitoring.
• Use usability testing, behavioral research, and product analytics from tools such as FullStory and Pendo to guide design iterations.
• Design complex enterprise experiences involving role-based access control, multi-tenant environments, dense data, and advanced filtering.
• Build interactive prototypes with Claude directly in the existing codebase and design system.
• Strengthen the design system, including machine-readable patterns and accessibility aligned with WCAG 2.2.
• Partner with Product and Engineering, facilitate AI prototyping workshops, and turn ambiguous briefs into validated solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product design experience, including at least 3+ years designing B2B SaaS platform experiences.
• Portfolio demonstrating complex UI work involving multidimensional data, analytics dashboards, permissions, or deeply nested systems.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude to create code-based interactive prototypes grounded in an existing codebase and design system.
• Experience contributing to design systems and strong fluency with Figma and AI-assisted design tools.
• Understanding of cognitive load, decision-making frameworks, high-stakes security interfaces, usability testing, product analytics, and WCAG 2.2.

• Experience designing trustworthy AI features that fail gracefully and keep users in control.
• Front-end experience with HTML, CSS, and shipped component code.
