What you will do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for analytics, dashboards, visualizations, and AI-generated insights.
- Build services that process, aggregate, enrich, and serve structured and unstructured data for interactive analytics.
- Develop APIs and data services for dashboards, reporting interfaces, and customer-facing visualization experiences.
- Integrate AI models and generated outputs with analytics experiences in collaboration with AI/ML engineers.
- Define service interfaces, data structures, data flows, processing workflows, caching strategies, and integrations with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Improve performance, scalability, reliability, observability, testing, deployment, and maintainability of production analytics services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience developing backend applications and services.
- Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages and frameworks.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, distributed systems, relational or NoSQL databases, and significant data volumes.
- Working knowledge of AWS or Azure, cloud application architecture, automated testing, CI/CD, and source control.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, application performance, and Agile development skills.
