TL;DR
Tech Lead (.NET) Senior (Backend) (.NET/C#/SQL Server): Defining architecture and leading the delivery of complex back-end services and system integrations with an accent on API governance, database performance, and reliability. Focus on designing distributed systems, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, solving complex production issues, and mentoring engineers across a multicultural team.
Location: Brazil; remote home office

What you will do
- Define and evolve the architecture, technical direction, and design patterns for back-end services using .NET, C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.
- Govern SOAP and REST API implementation, versioning, security, and standardization.
- Establish testing, monitoring, scalability, and root-cause analysis practices for reliable systems.
- Lead code reviews, mentor senior and junior engineers, and promote engineering excellence.
- Oversee integration between legacy and modern systems and drive CI/CD workflow improvements.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical roadmaps with product managers and international stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience as a Tech Lead, Team Lead, or Principal Engineer in a production environment.
- Deep hands-on experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.
- Experience with database design, optimization, performance tuning, SOAP, RESTful services, and XML serialization.
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns, clean architecture, and distributed systems.
- Advanced or fluent English; all communication is conducted in English.
- Strategic ownership, stakeholder management, adaptability, and empathetic technical leadership.

- Cloud platform expertise, preferably Azure.
- Specification-driven development and agentic software development approaches.
- Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams.
