Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Siler City, NC, United States; onsite production role

Salary: $19.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience and other job-related factors.

What you will do

• Lead daily production operations across multiple departments and shifts while meeting production targets.
• Supervise, coach, motivate, evaluate, and develop employees to support productivity and engagement.
• Manage department costs, profitability, inventory, reports, and operational records.
• Identify operational problems and implement process improvements, including 5S and TPM initiatives.
• Champion workplace safety through committees, JDAs, JSAs, audits, and LOTO compliance.
• Coordinate with maintenance on equipment reliability and preventive maintenance; operate a forklift when needed.

Requirements

• Post-high school education.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience and 1–3 years of experience leading or supervising employees.
• Ability to communicate expectations, priorities, and timelines clearly while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
• Successful completion of forklift driver certification.

Nice to have

• Experience with agendas, meetings, visual production tools, Inside UFPI systems, Citrix, and professional email communication.
• Familiarity with the Precise Plant Quality Program and quality troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, standard work instructions, equipment processes, and machine audits.
• Experience training employees, documenting training, conducting reviews, and supporting skill development.
