Assessment Editor (Mathematics)

Location: US-REMOTE; Remote

Salary: $65,000–$70,000 per year

What you will do

• Create, review, format, and revise mathematics test items and assessments.
• Collaborate with assessment designers, writers, and copy editors.
• Align mathematics items with state standards across multiple states.
• Review assessments across multiple grade levels and mathematics content areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in secondary mathematics or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience developing student assessment content, including item banks and standardized assessments.
• Expert-level understanding of mathematics curricula and state learning standards, especially secondary mathematics.
• Experience authoring and editing technology-enhanced and traditional items in an assessment management system.
• Strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion, and a strict code of integrity.
