About the Role

You will design and maintain data systems that provide reliable datasets and insights. You will build SQL and Python pipelines, improve data quality and performance, lead data engineering projects, manage data infrastructure, document datasets, and work with stakeholders to balance technical and business needs.

Requirements

• 4+ years of dedicated data engineering experience
• Experience solving complex data pipeline issues at scale
• Experience building data models and pipelines on large datasets
• Experience with SQL and data orchestration tools such as DBT, Mode, and Airflow
• Experience with data warehouses and lakes such as Redshift, Snowflake, and Databricks
• Experience building batch and real-time pipelines with technologies such as Spark and Kafka
• Understanding of schema design and analytics schemas
• Ability to manage, deploy, and improve data infrastructure
• Ability to work empathetically with stakeholders
• Commitment to data privacy and integrity

Responsibilities

• Understand product and strategy needs to inform dataset design
• Prioritize data quality and performance when designing datasets
• Lead data engineering projects
• Advocate for appropriate industry tools and practices
• Own SQL and Python data pipelines
• Document datasets and define quality, uptime, and usefulness standards
