Data Engineer II, Analytics & Modeling (Snowflake)

Location: New York, NY, United States; onsite

Salary: $180,000–$220,000 annual total compensation, including base salary and new-hire equity.

What you will do

• Build scalable data systems that enable analysts and engineers to make automated, tested, secure, and high-quality changes.
• Design processes for data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependencies, and workload management.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end data pipelines from ingestion through visualization.
• Develop and implement data analytics models.
• Partner with product stakeholders to define requirements, innovate, and solve complex problems.
• Own architectural decisions and drive continuous improvement across technology and processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud-based application development and several relevant tools or platforms.
• Knowledge of AWS, data orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Luigi, and big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, or Databricks.
• Experience with collaboration, integration, deployment, or visualization tools such as GitHub, Argo, Jenkins, Looker, or Tableau.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with and mentoring less experienced team members, with autonomy and comfort working through ambiguity.
