What you will do

• Interpret and apply U.S. GAAP and firm accounting policies to transactions and corporate-level activities.
• Research emerging technical accounting issues and support new disclosure requirements in SEC filings.
• Develop and periodically update firm accounting policies.
• Partner with SEC Reporting and Legal Entity Controller teams to ensure accurate, consistent, and investor-relevant disclosures.
• Deliver training and guidance on emerging accounting standards and firm-wide policy application.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with five years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree in one of these fields with seven years of relevant experience.
• Five or seven years of experience, depending on degree level, in technical accounting matters involving Accounting Standards Codification, including ASC research and technical accounting memoranda for complex issues.
• Experience with SEC reporting, including 10-K and 10-Q filings, and monitoring emerging accounting and reporting standards.
• Ability to manage concurrent, time-sensitive projects independently and collaborate on accounting questions.
• CPA required.
