Manager, Accounting Policy

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Hybrid workplace model with at least four full days per week in an hirify.global office.

What you will do

• Provide authoritative technical accounting guidance on strategic transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and financial reporting matters.
• Review consolidation, VIE assessments, segment reporting, loss contingencies, revenue recognition, management fees, restructuring, and impairment matters.
• Research complex accounting topics and support implementation of new accounting standards and business combinations.
• Review quarterly financial statements, 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and other public financial information for quality assurance.
• Assess emerging disclosure risks and develop appropriate responses.
• Support corporate audits and collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, HR, Fund Accounting, and business teams.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting.
• CPA qualification.
• 6+ years of public accounting, US GAAP accounting policy, and/or SEC reporting experience.
• Experience drafting technical accounting memoranda and policy documentation.
• Strong understanding of technical accounting concepts and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication, prioritization, change management, analytical, and technology skills.
