Sr. PLM Platform Architect (Windchill/SolidWorks)

Location: Woodinville, Seattle, Washington; hybrid schedule with attendance three days per week. Requires domestic travel of 10% or more as needed.

Salary: $156,150–$191,800 USD base salary.

What you will do

• Design and implement Windchill PLM business processes, with a focus on SolidWorks CAD integration.
• Establish SolidWorks CAD modeling and assembly practices that support data fidelity, check-ins, and configuration management.
• Improve CAD data capture, engineering BOM structures, SKU definition, and configuration management across the hardware portfolio.
• Manage BOMs, engineering deliverables, and product configurations through new product introduction with internal teams and contract manufacturers.
• Moderate the PLM Change Control Board and align program leads and partners on platform changes and deliverables.
• Serve as the integration liaison for configuration management and change control with contract manufacturing teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience.
• 7+ years of experience managing product-development business processes.
• Deep expertise in Windchill PLM and SolidWorks integration, including structuring CAD models and assemblies for deployment.
• Strong understanding of CAD/CAM applications, BOM structures, and consumer manufacturing environments.
• Experience with SAP, NetSuite, ERP/MRP/MES/QMS platforms and their downstream integration with Windchill.
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, project management, change management, and corrective-action methods such as DOE, 8D, RedX, DMAIC, and Kaizen.
