Windchill Integration Engineer (Windchill)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate integrations between PTC Windchill and ERP, MES, CAD, and other engineering and manufacturing systems.
• Own the technical integration layer connecting Windchill with the broader enterprise systems landscape.
• Translate requirements from product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders into reliable integration solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews and design reviews while mentoring junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot, document, and support production-grade integration solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least five years of PLM integration experience, with a strong focus on Windchill; the position requests 9+ years of overall experience.
• Hands-on experience with Info*Engine and the Windchill Java API.
• Experience designing PLM-to-ERP integrations with SAP or Oracle, plus knowledge of CAD integration patterns.
• Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, or SAP CPI.
• Strong SQL, REST, SOAP, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• PTC Windchill certifications.
• ThingWorx or IIoT integration experience.
• Exposure to API management platforms.
• Familiarity with event-driven and Kafka-based integration patterns.
• Experience operating Windchill in the cloud.
