Field Technician I (Environmental)

What you will do

• Travel to customer and environmental testing sites, including occasional overnight trips.
• Collect, process, test, pick up, transport, and deliver air, soil, water, and related environmental samples.
• Complete sample collection kits, field documentation, logs, forms, databases, and test-result records.
• Prepare vehicles, instruments, supplies, safety equipment, and documentation for daily field operations.
• Support environmental programs, operational improvements, issue resolution, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Interact professionally and cooperatively with customers and coworkers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Related work experience is preferred; one year of laboratory or environmental experience is preferred.
• Ability to travel, including some overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s license and continued maintenance of required licenses and certifications.
• Comfort operating a company vehicle equipped with GPS/telematics tracking and inward- and outward-facing safety cameras.
