Field Service Technician (Entry Level) - Charleston, SC

Location: Charleston, South Carolina, United States. Field-based work at customer locations; the candidate must live in the specified city. Occasional overnight travel and on-call coverage may be required.

Starting pay: $22.99–$25.84 per hour, plus potential bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain chemical dispensing equipment.
• Service equipment used in commercial foodservice and laundry operations.
• Diagnose issues using root cause analysis and appropriate tools and data.
• Travel between customer accounts by car and provide service focused on customer retention rather than sales.
• Operate laptops, phones, and service software to input and access account data.
• Perform physically demanding field work, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders and stairs, and working in hot, cold, dusty, and uneven environments.

Requirements

• Must live in Charleston, South Carolina.
• Basic understanding of electronics, plumbing, maintenance, or mechanical systems, with willingness to learn through provided training.
• Working knowledge of tools, data, equipment, and service requirements.
• Proficiency with laptop and mobile technology, including Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle safely are required.
• Must be eligible to work onsite at customer locations and meet occupational health and safety requirements.
