Field Service Technician I (Hazardous Waste)

Location: New Castle, Pennsylvania, United States; field work at customer sites with 10–25% travel, including overnight travel.

Salary: $41,885–$57,525 per year.

What you will do

• Prepare hazardous and non-hazardous waste for transportation.
• Load and unload tanks and tankers with bulk liquids.
• Inspect equipment, hoses, and connections before use.
• Remove materials from tanks, pits, and trenches during industrial and environmental cleanup.
• Work in confined spaces above and below ground and operate pressure washers, forklifts, power tools, and related equipment.
• Represent hirify.global professionally at customer sites while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred; a fully funded GED program is available to employees.
• Ability to travel 10–25% of the time, including overnight travel.
• Ability to walk, stand, sit, climb, and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to qualify to wear a full-face respirator.
• Compliance with OSHA health and safety rules and completion of required training.
