Environmental Field Tech 1 (Environmental Science)

What you will do

• Travel to customer and environmental testing sites, including occasional overnight stays.
• Collect, process, and test air, soil, water, and related environmental samples.
• Perform field services, complete test kits, and document sampling and testing results.
• Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, materials, and results.
• Prepare vehicles, instruments, supplies, safety equipment, and documentation for daily field operations.
• Maintain logs, forms, databases, and other records while supporting environmental programs, compliance activities, and operational improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• One year of laboratory or environmental experience is preferred.
• Ability to travel with some overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s license and continued maintenance of required licenses and certifications.
