Senior Project Scheduler (Heavy Civil Infrastructure)

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 per year ($72–$96 per hour)

What you will do

• Build and maintain integrated program master schedules across design, procurement, third-party, and construction contracts.
• Review baseline schedules and updates for logic, durations, calendars, float, resource loading, cost loading, and compliance with schedule specifications.
• Verify progress against field records and inspection documentation and assess critical-path, longest-path, recovery, acceleration, and what-if scenarios.
• Evaluate time extension requests and Time Impact Analyses, documenting determinations on entitlement, concurrency, and float ownership.
• Perform forensic delay analysis using as-planned versus as-built, windows, and collapsed as-built methods.
• Assess schedule risk, quantify exposure, produce reports and dashboards, maintain governance standards, and mentor junior schedulers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, construction, structural, transportation, systems, or a related engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of scheduling experience on large, complex heavy-civil infrastructure projects valued above $500 million.
• Experience with CPM baseline development, resource or cost loading, progress updating, variance analysis, time extension requests, and Time Impact Analyses.
• Ability to interpret project scope, drawings, and constraints and translate them into logic-driven, sequenced, resource-aware schedules.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, TILOS, MS Project, Primavera Risk, Acumen Fuse, or comparable project and risk management software, plus Microsoft Office 365.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, multitasking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• PSP, CFCC, PMI-SP, PMI-RMP, PMP, or CCM certification.
• Owner’s representative experience as a lead scheduler on infrastructure programs exceeding $1 billion.
• Experience supporting mediation, dispute review boards, or arbitration proceedings involving schedule delay claims.
