Computer Operator 1 (Unisys)

What you will do

• Monitor shift processing activities and end-user activity in a 24/7 processing environment.
• Operate and maintain Unisys mainframe systems and peripheral equipment, including printers, drives, and consoles.
• Perform file transfers and provide Tier 1 support for departmental requests and issues.
• Complete daily processing checklists, operational logs, reports, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot routine issues, identify anomalies, and escalate issues to management when appropriate.
• Follow production, change control, risk management, and compliance procedures.

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the United States; employment-based visa sponsorship is not provided.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain strong attention to detail.
• General knowledge of PCs, office equipment, printers, peripheral equipment, networking, and technology terminology.
• Availability for scheduled shift rotations and 24/7 processing coverage requirements.

Nice to have

• Associate degree.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Completion of appropriate Unisys and Fiserv virtual training modules with manager approval.
