Electron Beam Strip Weld Operator – 2nd Shift

Location: East Windsor, Connecticut, United States; onsite, 2nd shift Monday–Thursday, 4:00 p.m.–2:30 a.m.

What you will do

• Operate electron-beam welding equipment to produce WSL parts.
• Read blueprints and work orders, then set up tooling and weld parameters.
• Perform oxyacetylene butt-welds and pre-weld, in-line, and post-weld quality inspections.
• Troubleshoot tooling and equipment when materials are out of tolerance.
• Record production output and scrap while following quality, EHS, and 5S procedures.
• Load and unload materials with a hoist and move finished materials using a pallet jack.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and department specifications.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable ITAR/EAR requirements.
• Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule; overtime may be required.
