Setup Technician (Metal Stamping)

What you will do

• Set up dies, tooling, feeders, and modules on metal-stamping machines.
• Start up and shut down machines, change coils, and resolve equipment jams.
• Regrind dies and troubleshoot or repair Bihler, Finzer, Lens, BMS, Spako, and Ing Yu machines.
• Operate overhead cranes and retrieve tooling from the Lean Lift system.
• Maintain compliance with process, product-safety, and ICM master-manual requirements.
• Inspect finished products by measuring parts with calipers, checking gauges, entering data into Fastcheck, and performing visual inspections.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Assembly, inspection, mathematics, and reading-comprehension skills.
• Preferably at least 3 years of experience as a die setter in a metal-stamping manufacturing facility.
• Ability to maintain a neat and orderly work environment.
