Supply Chain Category Analyst

Location: Findlay, Ohio, or San Antonio, Texas, United States. Relocation will be considered.

hirify.global is an energy industry company with Supply Chain Category Management teams supporting refining and midstream operations.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and improve Category Management reports, dashboards, performance metrics, and data-driven insights.
• Analyze spend, supplier performance, pricing, cost models, market trends, and business requirements to support category strategies.
• Maintain process documentation, governance requirements, templates, and reporting standards.
• Monitor supplier performance, operational and commercial risks, corrective actions, and improvement opportunities.
• Support contract requests, documentation, milestone tracking, stakeholder reviews, renewals, sourcing events, supplier evaluations, and negotiations.
• Collaborate with Category Managers and internal stakeholders while progressively taking ownership of projects and supplier interactions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, Engineering, Business, Science, or a related discipline preferred.
• At least two years of Supply Chain or relevant business experience, including Engineering, Category Management, Commercial, or Contract Management experience.
• Basic understanding of contracting principles, commercial terms, sourcing processes, and supplier negotiations.
• Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience supporting Materials, Equipment, or Services in Refining or Midstream operations is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, or PowerAdvocate.
• Experience in Refining or Midstream operations.
