Maintenance Shop Technician A (Diesel Trucks)

What you will do

• Repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel trucks, refuse bodies, chassis, and related equipment.
• Diagnose and repair engines, diesel fuel systems, aftertreatment systems, and emissions systems.
• Service braking, hydraulic, electrical, HVAC, suspension, drivetrain, and steering systems.
• Use electronic scan tools to identify malfunctions and diagnose electrical and multi-system issues.
• Perform line maintenance, welding, fabrication, inspections, and repairs on-site and on the road.
• Complete company training programs and support drivers operating the fleet.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate strong technical expertise.
• Ability to perform inspections and repairs in heavy-truck or automotive systems including suspension and steering, engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, drivetrain, and diesel emissions.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications T1–T8, LNG/CNG experience, and Class B or higher CDL are preferred but not required.
