Mechanic (Hydraulics and Electrical)

JLG, an Oshkosh company, develops and supports access equipment including mobile elevating work platforms, telehandlers, utility vehicles, and accessories.

What you will do

• Complete activity-based equipment repairs and service work based on sales change orders.
• Install accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
• Use work instructions, testing tools, and basic computer systems to document findings.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and support quality standards and inventory accuracy.
• Learn to operate a forklift and work overtime or seven days per week when required.

Requirements

• At least one year of basic experience with hydraulic, electrical, gas, and diesel systems.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic knowledge of DC electricity, hydraulics, and technical prints.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use an iPad or laptop for data entry.
• Ability to lift permissible weights, stand throughout the day, walk long distances, stoop, and work at low positions.
