TL;DR
Automotive Technician B Tech (Automotive): Diagnosing and repairing braking, hydraulic, electrical, suspension, alignment, air-conditioning, computer, fuel, and ignition systems with an accent on accurate technical diagnosis and customer communication. Focus on performing advanced automotive repairs, mentoring technicians, and obtaining or maintaining ASE certifications.
Location: 244186 Southridge, United States; onsite automotive service role.
Salary: $19.57–$33.47 per hour under a performance-based flat-rate compensation model. First-time hires may receive a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

What you will do
- Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel, ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air-conditioning, and computer systems.
- Perform general automotive maintenance and tire repairs to specifications.
- Explain technical diagnoses and required repairs clearly to non-mechanical customers.
- Assist with and train technicians and mechanics on technical activities.
- Complete paid formal training to stay current with changing automotive technology.
- Obtain or maintain ASE certification in at least three A1–A8 areas within the first two years.
Requirements
- Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
- Demonstrated skill in brake and hydraulic systems and/or steering, suspension, and alignments.
- Experience with general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
- Current federal, state, and local certifications or licenses where applicable.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people, with reading, writing, and math skills.
- Employment requires completion of Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify applicants.
Nice to have
- Three years of automotive repair experience, relevant third-party assessments or certifications, or completion of a vocational-technical program.
- ASE certification in at least one A1–A8 area; L1 certification is acceptable.
