Payment Posting Specialist (Accounting)

Salary: $14.23–$21.35 per hour

What you will do

• Process and post incoming payments, including checks, money orders, bankruptcy payments, and CCCS payments.
• Make deposits and process additional payment types such as legal payments, MoneyGram, Western Union, overnight payments, and NSF transactions.
• Analyze and research incoming payments and reconcile daily deposits and cash transactions.
• Support controls, balancing, and deposits of daily cash receipts.
• Complete the daily user balancing sheet accurately and on time.

Requirements

• Associate degree in business or accounting, or equivalent related experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of related experience with payment receipts, payment processing, and deposits preferred.
• Entry-to-moderate understanding of accounts receivable.
• Proficiency with Windows 10 or higher, Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
