Electrical Lead (Electrical Manufacturing)

Location: Oregon, Wisconsin, United States; onsite production role. Schedule: 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with up to 10 hours on Fridays.

What you will do

• Lead electricians constructing electrical power, lighting, and communication systems in product buildings.
• Plan wiring and install switches, circuit breakers, panel boards, fixtures, conduit, and related equipment.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders, assign duties, and coordinate resources, materials, and tools.
• Adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Analyze installation problems, support workers in resolving issues, and train crew members on installation standards.
• Test circuit continuity and electrical safety using instruments such as volt/ohmmeters.

Requirements

• High school diploma and five years of related electrical installation experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with electrical wiring and equipment in manufacturing or construction environments.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
• State of Wisconsin Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
• Ability to work the stated onsite production schedule and interact effectively with supervisors and crew members.
