Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead production shifts and ensure products, equipment, and processes meet quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
• Deliver key performance indicators for people, quality, safety, service, and cost, including production schedule attainment and on-time, in-full shipping.
• Coach, train, onboard, and develop associates while promoting ownership, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Identify operational issues, assign corrective actions, follow up on completion, and escalate matters when needed.
• Coordinate with other departments, incoming shift leaders, and department leadership to keep production on schedule.
• Reduce waste and downtime, oversee staffing, ensure product specifications, and use operational applications including SOMAX, Rever, Shift Guides, and Intelex.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of experience in production, preferably in food processing or a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, organization, planning, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office; Kronos knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to read English and follow written procedures accurately.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in a non-air-conditioned environment and off ground level with appropriate safety equipment.
