Production Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Edgewood, New York, United States; 100% on-site. Work hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime required, including weekends and holidays. Some travel to trade shows, seminars, equipment manufacturers, and other hirify.global facilities may be required.

Salary: $92,520–$120,840 annually, based on experience. Bonus eligible.

What you will do

• Manage production operations, workflows, staffing capacity, schedules, and department activities.
• Lead staff development through coaching, mentoring, training, performance reviews, counseling, and disciplinary processes.
• Analyze processes and implement improvements that increase operational efficiency and maintain quality standards.
• Manage department budgets, forecasts, goals, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external customers to meet schedules, resolve problems, participate in client meetings, and facilitate facility tours.
• Interview candidates, make hiring recommendations, provide management reports, and investigate discrepancies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of related experience, including supervisory experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong analytical, verbal, written communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to review jobs before and after production to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding operational environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays is required.
