Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Mason City, IA, at the Mason City Plant. Onsite role requiring a rotating 12-hour schedule: four consecutive day shifts from 5:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., four days off, four consecutive night shifts from 5:15 p.m. to 5:15 a.m., and four days off.

Salary: $77,800–$97,300 base salary per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations for an assigned area and shift.
• Drive productivity, efficiency, customer service, cost, quality, safety, and employee engagement objectives.
• Provide direction, leadership, development, and support to direct reports through teamwork, empowerment, assignments, and improvement projects.
• Develop and promote safety programs and safe work practices through plant safety teams and initiatives.
• Maintain effective employee and labor relations by supporting a qualified department organization.
• Promote continuous improvement and cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisor role.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor large teams of hourly associates.
• Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong accountability, consistency, and follow-through.
• Ability to work effectively with hourly employees through senior management.
• BA/BS in Business, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; manufacturing experience is also preferred.
