Manufacturing Engineering Technician (HVAC)

Location: Groveland, Florida, United States; 100% onsite on the manufacturing floor

Salary: $25 per hour starting pay, plus a monthly bonus based on productivity and profits

hirify.global manufactures commercial kitchen ventilation systems, fans, heaters, ductwork, and HVAC equipment through a network of manufacturing plants and sales offices in the United States and Canada.

What you will do

• Build products on the Dedicated Outdoor Air System line and other manufacturing lines.
• Operate technical equipment and help accelerate and organize production lines.
• Perform electrical and electronic troubleshooting, product inspections, and quality documentation.
• Charge and recover refrigerant and read engineering drawings, factory orders, and wiring diagrams.
• Use brazing skills for production work; welding and soldering may also be used.
• Follow safety procedures and keep the workspace clean, safe, and operational.

Requirements

• Two-year or four-year technical degree in a mechanically or electrically oriented curriculum.
• Entry-level profile through two years of work experience; internship or hands-on manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to use power and hand tools, electrical testing and measuring equipment, ladders, and forklifts.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and factory orders.
• Ability to stand for 8–10 hours and independently lift 35–50 pounds.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future. A background check and drug screen are required.
