What you will do

  • Maintain and continuously improve the calibration program for measurement and test equipment.
  • Schedule and perform calibrations while minimizing production downtime.
  • Develop calibration procedures compliant with AS9100, ISO 17025, and other applicable standards.
  • Analyze calibration data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead investigations into calibration failures, out-of-tolerance conditions, and nonconformances.
  • Manage calibration suppliers, support audits, and train technicians and operators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in calibration, metrology, or quality engineering, preferably in aerospace or defense.
  • Strong knowledge of metrology principles, GD&T, and measurement uncertainty analysis.
  • Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540, asset management software, statistical analysis tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, conditional resident, asylee, refugee, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations.

Nice to have

  • ASQ Certified Calibration Technician, Six Sigma Green Belt, or equivalent metrology certification.
