Company

hirify.global develops devices that create a bidirectional interface with the brain to restore movement and sight and change how people interact with digital systems.

What you will do

  • Own programming, fixturing, calibration, traceability, and measurement uncertainty for bridge, optical, and portable-arm CMM equipment.
  • Build the incoming quality control workflow for purchased parts, including sampling plans, AS9102 first-article reviews, independent verification, and supplier NCR follow-up.
  • Perform first-article and in-process inspections of flexures, housings, titanium, PEEK, and other small, complex, tight-tolerance machined parts.
  • Apply ASME Y14.5 GD&T, datum strategies, contact and scanning routines, and appropriate alignments to produce reproducible measurements.
  • Generate inspection reports using PC-DMIS, Calypso, PolyWorks, or equivalent tools for design reviews and supplier scorecards.
  • Develop operator training and certification programs and partner with Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Supplier Quality on tolerance stack-ups, fixtures, capability studies, and corrective actions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on CMM experience for the middle-level track or 7+ years for the senior-level track in production or precision manufacturing.
  • Experience with bridge CMMs and portable arms and strong programming skills in PC-DMIS, Calypso, PolyWorks, Verisurf, or a comparable system.
  • Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T for small, complex, tight-tolerance parts, including sub-thousandth-of-an-inch features.
  • Experience reviewing AS9102 or PPAP-style first-article documentation and writing actionable supplier NCRs.
  • Ability to design or build simple fixtures, present inspection results clearly, and take ownership of measurement integrity.
  • Willingness to travel 10–25% between the Austin and South San Francisco sites.

Nice to have

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, medical devices, semiconductors, or precision robotics.
  • Experience with CT/X-ray inspection, optical CMMs, structured-light scanning, or laser trackers.
  • Experience training operators, writing SOPs and work instructions, and creating certification programs.
  • Familiarity with ISO 17025, ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820, or comparable regulated quality systems.
  • Python, VBA/macros, or DMIS scripting experience for report automation and data integration.

Culture & Benefits

  • Work with multidisciplinary experts developing brain-interface devices, implants, and robots.
  • Full-time employment with medical, dental, and vision insurance through a PPO plan.
  • Paid holidays, flexible time off, commuter benefits, and provided meals.
  • Equity compensation through RSUs and a 401(k) plan.
  • Parental leave and opportunities for career growth based on impact.
