Business Analyst (Accident & Health)

Location: Toronto, Canada; primarily office-based with up to 20% travel across Canada

Salary: CAD 64,000–80,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Support senior leadership with broker and consultant network development and new business generation.
• Manage the new business pipeline, submissions, timelines, broker presentations, pitch decks, and proposals.
• Build premium forecasting models and produce reporting on pipeline activity, renewals, and portfolio performance.
• Develop dashboards and executive summaries that turn data into actionable insights for leadership.
• Coordinate RFP responses and collaborate with underwriting on complete, timely submissions.
• Support underwriting operations, policy issuance, documentation, service triage, market intelligence, and process improvements.

Requirements

• University or college degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in insurance, financial services, or a related analytical or client-facing role; internship experience is welcome.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with experience building models and working with Excel or similar tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and report-writing abilities.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Willingness to learn the insurance business and represent hirify.global in client, broker, and industry interactions.

Nice to have

• Interest in or progress toward a CEBS (GBA) or other insurance designation.
• Life and Accident & Sickness license, or willingness to obtain one.
