Business Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Flexible hybrid schedule in Toronto at 483 Bay Street, moving to the Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway approximately in late 2026. Current Canadian work authorization is required.

Salary: CAD 60,000–85,000 total annual cash compensation, including base salary and target discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Plan and monitor business analysis activities across cross-organizational projects and Stories.
• Elicit, analyze, prioritize, and document business and technical requirements.
• Estimate project scope and contribute to planning and methodological decisions.
• Act as a liaison between business units and Information Services teams, translating business and system requirements.
• Support Development and QA teams during requirements design and testing.
• Coordinate business readiness activities and readiness testing where applicable.

Requirements

• Completed three-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least one year of Business Analyst experience in the financial industry.
• Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle, requirements analysis, stakeholder liaison, elicitation workshops, and presenting recommendations to business partners and senior management.
• Familiarity with BABOK methodology and business analysis best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, interpersonal, time-management, and multitasking skills.
• Current Canadian work authorization is required; the role follows a flexible hybrid schedule in the Greater Toronto Area.

Nice to have

• Experience working within an Agile framework or on a Scrum team.
• IIBA or other Business Analysis certification, CSM, or CSPO.
