Global Supply Manager, Indirect (Aerospace)

Location: Cape Canaveral, Florida, United States; on-site work is required. Other openings may be based at Stennis, Mississippi, or Long Beach, California. Successful candidates must clear a background check administered by the US government to obtain clearance for on-site work at a government partner location in Cape Canaveral.

Hiring range: $98,000–$146,000 USD annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own global category strategies, should-cost models, supply base design, and multi-year category plans.
• Direct sourcing events end to end, including RFPs over $100,000.
• Lead complex negotiations and master service agreements while securing favorable commercial, technical, and delivery terms.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships, performance reviews, roadmaps, escalations, and supply assurance.
• Partner with engineering, finance, and operations to build procurement plans for critical projects and mitigate supply risks.
• Drive category KPIs, supplier consolidation, benchmarking, and sourcing coverage while mentoring sourcing specialists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience, including category or commodity ownership.
• Experience with end-to-end category strategy, should-cost analysis, supply base design, and high-value negotiations or MSAs of $100,000+.
• Fluency in vendor contracting terms and commercial risk, including correct contract and purchase-order approval routing.
• Experience managing strategic suppliers, performance, supply assurance, and risk mitigation.
• Proficiency with procurement systems such as ERP, P2P/S2P, e-sourcing, SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or Ariba, plus strong analytical and influencing skills.

Nice to have

• Expertise in construction and infrastructure, mechanical or fabrication, IT hardware or software, MRO, logistics, marine and recovery, fuel and gases, or corporate services.
• CPSM, CPSD, or CIPS certification.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or another complex regulated manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with government contracting, ITAR, or export controls.
• Master’s degree or MBA.
