Manufacturing Technician III (T3) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $23.00–$31.40

What you will do

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electromechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
• Perform electromechanical assembly, troubleshooting, repairs, and process improvements.
• Receive and audit parts, verify availability, and inspect components for defects.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies.
• Complete work documentation and data entry, and perform programming, repairs, or software installations as needed.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and serve as an informal resource for junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree.
• 2–4 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industrial or military experience.
• Related technical training and certifications.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom and use required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, lift, use hand and power tools, and operate heavy machinery including forklifts.

Nice to have

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using established procedures or scientific methods.
• Experience as a peer leader or trainer.
• Proficiency in semiconductor manufacturing concepts and processes.
• ASSEET or BSEET qualification, including DeVry or TSTC training.
