Process Technician (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; on-site cleanroom and laboratory work

What you will do

• Prepare wafers, reactors, coupon samples, and cross-section samples for experiments and analysis.
• Operate reactors, metrology tools, laboratory equipment, and instrumentation to support thin-film processes.
• Evaluate wafers, thin films, and process-system performance; prepare graphs and tables of results.
• Record process conditions and experimental observations while monitoring work-in-process throughput.
• Perform equipment setup, shutdown, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and supply coordination.
• Work with requestors, vendors, purchasing, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and communicate results.

Requirements

• Technical diploma.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom while using required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to walk extensively, stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces, climb, kneel, reach, work at height, and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to distinguish colors and work with electricity, noise, hand tools, and power tools.
