Process Technician (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Prepare wafers and reactors for experiments, including cleaning and equipment setup.
• Operate reactors for thin-film processes and evaluate process-system performance.
• Prepare cross-section samples and operate scanning electron microscopes for CD, EDS, cross-section, and top-view analysis.
• Identify imaging patterns, optimize sample and beam conditions, and assess image quality.
• Record process conditions and observations; prepare graphs and tables summarizing wafer and thin-film results.
• Perform SEM software alignment, routine maintenance, equipment shutdowns, repairs coordination, and supply ordering.

Requirements

• Technical diploma.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of scanning electron microscope principles.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom using required personal protective equipment and hand or power tools.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces, climb stairs and ladders, and lift up to 35 lbs.
