Expert Cloud Architect (OpenStack)

Location: Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs, or Szeged, Hungary. Remote work is available only within Hungary due to European taxation regulations.

What you will do

• Design, operate, and further develop OpenStack-based services on the T Cloud Public Platform.
• Develop physical and virtual network architecture while incorporating IT security requirements.
• Plan and implement infrastructure automation using common automation frameworks.
• Design and develop public cloud platform and software-as-a-service features.
• Collaborate with specialists and Deutsche Telekom teams on public cloud and open-source technologies.
• Prepare presentations, advise management on technology decisions, and mentor colleagues in an agile squad.

Requirements

• Technical, engineering, or scientific degree, or comparable professional training.
• At least 11 years of professional IT experience focused on modern cloud technologies.
• Strong knowledge of software, cloud, and container architectures.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and in-depth knowledge of Linux, system tools, and network-related services.
• Customer orientation, agile development knowledge, mentoring skills, and presentation skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English; work must be performed within the European Union to meet client data security and privacy requirements.

Nice to have

• OpenStack experience.
• Programming experience in open-source projects.
