Location General Manager (Retail)

Location: Onsite at the Edison hirify.global location, 1015 US Route 1, Edison, New Jersey

Salary: $110,600–$213,500 annually, with potential bonus and equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead total store operations across associate development, profitability, customer satisfaction, sales processes, and budget management.
• Oversee P&L performance and implement cost-control initiatives.
• Improve operational efficiency by reducing waste and introducing process improvements.
• Recruit, train, promote, coach, and develop associates while maintaining a strong talent pipeline.
• Set strategy and goals for senior management teams and provide vision and motivation.
• Manage the location’s environmental, health, and safety program, including inspections, hazardous-waste disposal, workplace safety, and PPE.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of management experience, preferably in retail, with demonstrated leadership capability.
• Ability to make independent business decisions, interpret data, maintain records, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Completion of hirify.global-provided training and intermediate PC skills.
• Flexibility to work rotating schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional travel for meetings or training.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Full-time hourly or commission/incentive-eligible associates can accrue up to 48 hours of sick time annually and 80–200 hours of vacation after a 90-day waiting period, depending on tenure.
• Full-time salaried associates receive paid time away as needed for sick leave, vacation, bereavement, jury duty, holidays, and related circumstances, subject to manager approval.
• Eligible associates working scheduled holidays may receive holiday premium pay.
