Field Service Technician (Mount Pleasant, WI)

Location: Must reside in the Mount Pleasant, WI area; valid authorization to work in the United States is required. The role is listed as remote but involves onsite customer support, frequent travel, and work in factory environments.

What you will do

• Install, modify, repair, calibrate, and maintain factory automation equipment and related software at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot equipment, software, programming, configuration, and SMT process issues, targeting resolution within 24 hours of arriving onsite.
• Manage onsite service projects, prioritize corrective actions, coordinate with customers and internal teams, and complete service assignments on schedule.
• Provide customer training, technical information, issue resolution, and support through meetings and telephone assistance.
• Prepare installation, acceptance, service, warranty, SAP, corrective action, and project documentation.
• Support sales, factory teams, demonstrations, trade shows, equipment refurbishments, modifications, and customer site preparation.

Requirements

• Must reside in the Mount Pleasant, WI area.
• Valid authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Two-year technical or vocational education, or relevant military training.
• Two to three years of industry experience preferred, with functional PC and software skills.
• Ability to lift more than 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in factory production environments and confined spaces.
• Willingness to travel extensively, often 75% or more, including domestic and international travel, short-notice trips, weekends, holidays, and non-standard hours.
