Senior Data and Reporting Professional (Healthcare)

Location: Remote Illinois; must be available to work from 8am–5pm Central Standard Time. Occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $73,400–$100,100 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Generate ad hoc reports, recurring datasets, and reporting solutions for business partners.
• Integrate, extract, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources, reporting tools, and data warehouses.
• Develop report specifications, dashboards, and data visualizations based on stakeholder needs.
• Schedule and monitor automated data processing jobs and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain documentation covering reporting processes and data flows.
• Investigate data quality and reporting issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve data management processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of technical data reporting experience, or at least 5 years of technical data reporting experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 3 years of data analysis experience in a healthcare organization.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, SAS, and other data systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, external data connections, and reporting dashboards.
• Advanced Microsoft Power BI skills, including external data connections, pass-through queries, and data structure and relationship design.
• Ability to work 8am–5pm Central Standard Time and maintain a secure dedicated workspace for protected health information.

Nice to have

• Residence within the State of Illinois.
• Experience reporting on Medicaid and Medicare products.
• Experience in system analytics or data warehousing environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Access.
• Experience with Tableau and Qlik for data visualization.
