Senior Cost Manager (Quantity Surveying)

What you will do

• Manage tender and bid processes from initial documentation through analysis and reporting.
• Control project changes by identifying, analyzing, approving, and implementing cost-impacting variations.
• Create estimates, cost plans, valuations, and cost reports for key client developments.
• Prepare and agree final accounts, including claims and construction dispute-related matters.
• Communicate cost information clearly to project stakeholders and support timely project decisions.
• Mentor employees and support team performance and professional growth.

Requirements

• Experience as a Senior Cost Manager, ideally in a consultancy environment.
• Experience in pre-contract cost management, budget control, cost planning, and change management.
• Knowledge of alternative construction materials and experience preparing change forms for stakeholder discussion.
• Chartered status or progress toward chartership.
• Degree or comparable experience in project management or a construction discipline.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
