Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

hirify.global is an early-stage startup incubated by Kleiner Perkins, building a new agentic stack for enterprise CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) software.

What you will do

• Embed with RevOps and Sales leaders to solve complex pricing and approval challenges.
• Own the full delivery lifecycle from technical discovery to production go-live.
• Transform customer-specific integrations and workflows into core platform features.
• Deploy and tune proactive AI agents for quoting recommendations and deal modeling.
• Maintain a fast feedback loop by identifying product gaps and communicating them to the core team.

Requirements

• Track record of owning technical delivery end-to-end with real customers.
• Strong engineering fundamentals with the ability to build fast and maintain quality.
• Comfort with ambiguity and navigating unfamiliar customer systems.
• High autonomy and a builder's mindset.
• Clear, direct communication skills for both technical and business stakeholders.
• Must be based in San Francisco or willing to relocate for this in-person role.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite customer visits.

Nice to have

• Experience working directly inside customer environments as a solutions or implementation engineer.
• Background as a founder or early-stage engineer.
• Experience turning one-off customer requests into scalable product features.
