Sr. Program Finance Analyst (Program Finance/DoD): Supporting program financial planning, earned value management, cost and schedule performance analysis, and contract deliverables with an accent on baseline control, estimate-at-complete forecasting, and federal acquisition regulations. Focus on analyzing variances and risks, maintaining time-phased plans, preparing management reviews, and communicating financial results across program teams.

Salary: $95,000–$245,000 base salary per year

What you will do

  • Provide schedule and cost performance metrics using Earned Value Management System principles and related program control processes.
  • Support baseline development, charge number and work breakdown structure creation, and updates in ERP or Cobra tools.
  • Analyze budget variances, risks, opportunities, and estimate-at-complete results, supporting recovery planning where needed.
  • Develop time-phased program plans for revenue forecasting, budgeting, and five-year planning.
  • Prepare financial data, analysis, and variance narratives for Program Management Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Support invoicing, customer receivables, program funding reviews, and applicable contract deliverables.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proven expertise applying Earned Value Management System principles in daily operations.
  • Knowledge of program financial controls for Department of Defense programs, federal acquisition regulations, CAS, FAR, and DFARS.
  • Knowledge of contract types including FFP, FPIF, CPFF, CPIF, and T&M, as well as revenue recognition.
  • Strong Excel, analytical, communication, presentation, multitasking, and independent problem-solving skills.
