Specialist, MDF Operations

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; hybrid with attendance at the Toronto office once a week

Salary: CAD 62,000–74,000 annually, plus 8% target incentives

What you will do

• Manage vendor Marketing Development Funds (MDF), rebate programs, contracts, approvals, portals, and related operational processes.
• Perform monthly MDF reconciliations, submit billing to Finance, and reconcile customer-specific and product-line rebates.
• Ensure compliance with vendor Proof of Performance and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with Finance, vendor representatives, Channel, Marketing, and program owners on funding questions and requirements.
• Support activity and budget planning, revenue forecasting, vendor onboarding, and partner process training.
• Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, fund utilization, and the overall partner experience.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in finance and/or operations.
• Intermediate Excel experience.
• Strong financial acumen or a finance-focused degree.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Creative and strategic thinking abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

• Understanding of the commercial IT hardware and software market.
