Accounting and Financial Systems, Lead (Fintech)

Location: Toronto, Canada; flexible hybrid work model. Eligibility to work for hirify.global Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity is required.

Salary: CAD 95,000–105,000 annually, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead and maintain financial systems including JDE, ReportsNow, and Concur Expense.
• Manage system upgrades, financial systems IT audit support, and implementation of automation tools.
• Create and maintain external, government, audit, grant, and quarterly financial reports.
• Support monthly accounting, including accrual entries and validation of financial information.
• Contribute to projects affecting the enterprise accounting platform and complete special assignments.

Requirements

• Experience supporting or leading financial system implementations and enhancements.
• Working knowledge of Canadian GAAP, including ASPE and IFRS.
• Business degree in accounting or finance and/or CPA qualification or active pursuit of CPA.
• Strong Excel, financial modeling, communication, presentation, critical-thinking, and time-management skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot systems, evaluate new tools, document changes, and influence senior management.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada for hirify.global Corp. full time.

Nice to have

• Experience with JD Edwards, ReportsNow, and Concur Expense.
• Microsoft SharePoint knowledge.
• Financial modeling experience.
