Systems Integration & Testing Engineer IV

Location: Fort Belvoir, Virginia; no remote or telework allowed

Salary: $110,204.91–$191,624.96 annually

What you will do

• Interact daily with customers, Acquisition Offices, and supporting contractors.
• Evaluate architecture, requirements, risks, opportunities, and processes for verification, validation, and test impacts.
• Define VV&T strategies, plans, procedures, checklists, readiness materials, and related products for new and modified mission capabilities.
• Lead or support test events, transitions, and milestone readiness events.
• Prepare reports covering test results, risk assessments, discrepancies, and lessons learned.
• Lead technical meetings and provide consultations, briefings, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Active and maintainable TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• BS/BA with 8–10 years of experience, MS/MA with 6–8 years, or PhD with 3–5 years.
• Experience with enterprise- or system-level satellite VV&T activities.
• Experience with GEOINT or PROTECTION systems and space and ground architectures.
• Knowledge of space-to-ground mission capabilities and system performance analysis.
• Experience writing and executing test strategies, plans, procedures, and checklists; analyzing data; and summarizing results.

Nice to have

• 12 or more years of related experience.
• Subject-matter-expert knowledge of enterprise- or system-level satellite VV&T.
• Model-Based Systems Engineering and SysML experience.
• Experience with commercial VV&T techniques in SOA, infrastructure, or application service-provider environments.
