Insurance Compliance Manager

What you will do

• Provide second-line compliance advice and oversight for policies, procedures, processes, and financial services products.
• Advise on process design, scripts, financial promotions, complaints, conduct issues, and compliance incidents.
• Assess internal control effectiveness, oversee remediation, and identify root causes and lessons learned.
• Prepare regulatory reports for the FCA and other relevant bodies, including Suspicious Activity Reports.
• Partner with first-line teams and Legal & Compliance colleagues, deliver training, and promote strong compliance and customer outcomes.
• Support regulatory and business change by monitoring developments and sharing analysis with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Solid second-line advisory or compliance experience in financial services.
• Essential experience with general insurance products.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance in an FCA-regulated organisation.
• Experience identifying compliance risks and opportunities and developing proportionate responses in changing environments.
• Ability to communicate complex regulatory, FCA, and financial crime requirements clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to have

• Experience with consumer credit or cashback card products.
• Financial crime knowledge and experience.
