Technical CASS Analyst (Risk & Regulatory Compliance)

What you will do

• Monitor, assess, analyse, and track compliance with CASS regulations.
• Prepare CASS reporting and management information, including CMAR returns, annual stratification surveys, and regulatory information requests.
• Support the CASS Assurance Plan through control testing, analysis, and reporting of weaknesses.
• Assist with the annual external CASS audit and investigate and remediate breaches, issues, and trends.
• Support CASSROC administration by preparing management information and committee papers.
• Build stakeholder relationships and help improve CASS-related systems, controls, outsourced arrangements, and business processes.

Requirements

• Experience in an MI, risk, oversight, or regulatory compliance role within financial services.
• Technical experience interpreting regulatory requirements and assessing control and process effectiveness.
• Sound understanding of the FCA Client Assets Sourcebook (CASS) requirements.
• Working knowledge of the FCA regulatory framework for ISAs, investment products, and pension products.
• Ability to analyse management information and produce clear reports, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Strong organisation, prioritisation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
